Most owners didn't realise that the roof could be opened this way (remotely). On my car the roof can be opened and closed with the key held in unlocked or locked position in the door lock. So my question is, I can open the roof and windows with the key remotely, even from a distance which is great. Not sure on a price difference for a Z4, but if you were to DIY, make sure you have the proper metric tools.
